Kobudo series-Negishi ryu shuriken jutsu performed by Satoshi Saito

Negishi ryu was created by Shorei NEGISHI (1833-1897). He was the son of the sword master in Mito domain  (Ibaraki Prefecture). NEGISHI learned Araki ryu kenjutsu from his father and Hokushin itto ryu from Hanpei Kaiho (1822 - 1863). Kaiho was a samurai of Mito domain and studied the attack Shuriken. NEGISHI also started learning Shuriken jutsu. Finally he found a school of Shuriken jutsu.

In the book of "Negishi ryu shuriken jutsu yoko", it discrives that the origin of the Shuriken technique came from "Uchiné" Japanese bow and "Uchimono" kenjutsu. Kamae (the attacking form) of Shuriken is like that of shooting arrow and the spirit of shuriken is that of kenjutsu.
