UTAGAWA KUNIYOSHI: (1797-1861) is an active ukiyo-e artist during the late Edo period.
At the age of 15, he became a disciple of Toyokuni Utagawa and produced various works such as samurai paintings, bijin-ga (beautiful women), Ronin Ako and Kabuki paintings.
